Green Mobility Network's 1st Annual Toy Ride! Saturday, December 19th 2009 9:30am Meet at the South Miami Metrorail Station. First stopping at Mack Cycles where riders can purchase a child related cycling item or cycling book. Then we will then make our way up the M-Path to Merrick Park. There you can go up to the Borders book store to purchase a child’s book or game. From Merrick Park we will proceed to Miami Rescue Mission (2233 NW 1st Ct) where we will drop our gifts off for donation. From there a casual ride back or if you feel the need you can always catch the Metrorail back to South Miami. We will be stopping on the ride back for a snack or light lunch.
The Latin Builders Association donated 100 bicycles to Voices for Children. However, the bikes come unassembled and we need volunteers to build them. Any amount of time that you can volunteer will be greatly appreciated! Here are the details of the event(s):Two separate locations on the same date:
Saturday, December 19th
782 NW 42nd Avenue (Ocean Bank Building by the pavilion)
9:00am -12:00pm
or
46 NW 36 Street (Design District)
9:30am -1:30pm
If you cannot volunteer for the entire time, any amount of time you can donate would be a great help. Please help us to brighten the Christmas day of these children."

So, I am not going to have the FTL Monthly Bicycle Ride this month. Between a busy schedule at work and travels for the holiday. I had to skip a month. BUT! Instead, I am going to have a little group ride this Sunday December 20. Meet up at Brew Urban Cafe 5pm. We will ride out at 6pm. And end at BBQ Beach in Fort Lauderdale. Route will be about 10 miles.
